Powerspade – Tatterson Park – Case Study

Cassaform were engaged to design and supply a lightweight modular formwork system to help form the wingwalls and headwalls at the proposed road link at Tatterson Park estate in Keysborough.



Overview of Job: This project involved the forming of an approximate 16m wide large RC culvert drainage structure. It formed the main structural works associated with the proposed road link at Tatterson Park estate in Keysborough.
Key Features: The culvert structure design was achieved using Cassaform’s P300 wall formwork system. The works were executed in 3 phases. Phase 1 involved the forming, reinforcement, and concrete pouring (FRP) of two downstream wingwalls (6.5-11.8m long & 2m high). Phase 2 involved the FRP of the upstream wingwalls and phase 3 involved the FRP of the culvert headwalls.
Product used: Cassaforms P300 formwork system & Engineering design services.
Cassaform’s involvement: Cassaform were engaged to design and supply a lightweight modular formwork system to help form the wingwalls and headwalls. Cassaform provided sequence designs & detailed equipment take-offs to ensure site efficiency. The installed works were designed to Australian Standards and installed using best industry practice.
Feedback from job or results following completion: The culvert structure was recently completed well within both the proposed timeframe and client’s budget.
