MCS – Boorondarah Reservoir – Case Study

Cassaform were engaged to design and supply a lightweight modular formwork system to help form the 2600mm high plant room walls.

Overview of Job: This project involved the creation of a $10.8m play reserve off Booran Rd for the City of Glen Eira Council. It won awards and at the time was considered Melbourne s best playground.

Key Features: The proposed reserve design included a large Water play feature that required hydraulic plant and there for plant room to house. This formed the bulk of the concrete package works. Other works involved substantial landscaping

Product used: Cassaform’s P300 formwork system & Engineering design services.

Cassaform’s involvement: Cassaform were engaged to design and supply a lightweight modular formwork system to help form the 2600mm high plant room walls. Cassaform provided certification of the contractors installed works to Australian Standards and best industry practice.

Feedback from job or results following completion: The plant room structure was completed in late 2015 within both the timeframe proposed and the clients budget.
