Greensborough Station Level Crossing Removal Project Case Study

Cassaform was engaged to supply a 6.5m high propping system to temporarily support the cantilevered stair system of the Greensborough Station Level Crossing Removal Project in line with the Stair Construction methodology as prepared by the Southern Program Alliance.

Key Features: The props were required to support the designed criteria of 1.5kPa Construction Loads, 50kN vertical loads and +/- 30kN Horizontal in the direction of the stair flight.

The props were installed to temporarily support the cantilevered stairs during the construction phase until such time that the structure could be completed to a point where the stairs were integrated into and support by the entire structure itself.
