8m High Columns – Williams Landing – Case Study

Cassaform were engaged to design and supply a lightweight modular formwork system to help form the 2600mm high plant room walls in the Cedar Woods Project on 107 Overton Road, Williams Landing.






Overview of Job: Office Building – 107 Overton Rd, Williams Landing.
Key Features: The construction of the office structure in the ever expanding Western Suburb of Williams Landing involved the construction of multiple PT floor slabs and RC columns, a floor of which reached 8m high columns.
Product used: Cassaform’s P300 System, off site pre assembly capability & Design services.
Cassaform’s involvement: Cassaform were engaged to design, pre-assemble and supply a modular panel system capable of forming 10 x 6-8m high columns. Cassaform’s P300 system was selected given its high capacity (80kPa) and flexibility. The system was pre-assembled and transported to site in 3m boxes where they were simply connected together to achieve the specific height required. Cassaform provided engineering certification of the installed works at the request of the client to verify Australian Standards and best industry practices had been adopted.
