Catholic College Performing Arts Center, Bendigo Project – Case Study

Cassaform were engaged to design and supply formwork systems to aid with the construction of the reinforced structure. This included both vertical and horizontal members.






Overview of Job: A new Performing Arts Centre was constructed for the Catholic College in Bendigo in mid-2018. Construction involved forming a large suspended RC floor system approximately 1500m2 to an architectural pleasing Class 1 finish.
Key Features: The project required the formation of an RC Column’s including some on an incline, along with the on ground and suspended RC floor system that incorporated exposed band beams and slabs. The structure would become the new Performing Arts Centre for Catholic College students.
Product used: Cassaform P300 column boxes, Super shore framing system, Linear timbers and Engineering design and inspection services.
Cassaform’s involvement: Cassaform were engaged to design and supply formwork systems to aid with the construction of the reinforced structure. This included both vertical and horizontal members.
Feedback from job or results following completion: The project was completed to the client’s satisfaction and budget.
